The nearest airport to Siquijor is Dumaguete Airport (Sibulan Airport), which is well connected to major cities in the Philippines such as Manila and Cebu. Most travelers fly to Dumaguete and then take a ferry from Dumaguete to Siquijor. From the airport, it’s just a short tricycle ride to the Dumaguete Sea Port, where several ferries depart daily for Siquijor.

Buying Tickets to Siquijor
Tickets to Siquijor can be purchased in advance online or at the ticket offices at the ports. However, tickets are usually a bit cheaper if you buy them directly from the operator’s website and pay in Philippine Pesos – provided your bank doesn’t charge additional fees for the transaction. When booking online through Oceanjet, there’s a 10% booking fee on the ticket price, ranging from ₱35 – ₱160 (approx $0.59 – $2.71), depending on the ticket. The cheapest option is to buy tickets directly at the ticket counter.

Ferry from Cebu City to Siquijor
The port with the most connections from Cebu to Siquijor is located in Cebu City, on the eastern side of Cebu Island. Oceanjet is the only operator offering fast boats on the Cebu City to Siquijor route. Oceanjet boats depart twice daily from Cebu Pier 1 to Siquijor Town, with a stopover in Tagbilaran (Bohol). The entire trip from Cebu to Siquijor takes approximately 4 hours and prices start from 1600 ₱ (around $27.06) per person for economy class. When purchasing your tickets, you’ll receive two separate tickets (Cebu ➔ Tagbilaran and Tagbilaran ➔ Siquijor), but you don’t need to switch boats in Tagbilaran – you can simply stay seated.

Ferry from Bohol (Tagbilaran) to Siquijor
Bohol has several ports, but direct connections from Bohol to Siquijor are only available from Tagbilaran. Oceanjet is the only operator offering a direct route to Siquijor Town. Other operators sail from Tagbilaran to Larena on Siquijor.

Ferry from Dumaguete to Siquijor
